“We are honored that Keep Tennessee Beautiful chose to spend a day with us here at the Commodore” said Kathy Dumont, Co-Owner of the hotel. “As one of Tennessee’s premiere rural destinations, The Commodore is delighted to showcase our local landscape to nearby families and guests from across the globe” Dumont added.
During the visit, Keep Tennessee Beautiful witnessed a clean-up along the Riley Randel Bridge, conducted by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office. “The job of keeping our county roads clean is a monumental task” says Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems. “During this one visit, we collected an entire truckload of trash from the bridge alone. I’m glad our guests were able to see how hard we work on this each week, and how dedicated we are to this cause” Weems said.
Keep Tennessee Beautiful combines resources from several state agencies and non-profit originations to raise awareness for and enact litter control programs. Learn more about the organization by visiting keeptennesseebeautiful.com
