The Perry County Marching Vikings, led by Ms. Marlana Nyholt-Overbay, traveled to Trousdale County High School to compete in the Yellow Jacket Invitational. The kids left really excited and nervous but they return home with four trophies and a plaque from their first competition in program history. The band won second place in overall band, second place in percussion, second place in guard, and second place in drum major. The judges acknowledged the band with the Up and Coming award as a band to watch out for in the future. Ms. Marlana and the band want to thank everyone who has helped along the way as the kids continue to rock on.
